Volunteer for NOOK events

Want to get involved with NOOK and be part of the team? We are always looking for people to get on board with our events. It's a great way to see the shows, meet heaps of people and be satisfied that you have contributed to building the live music scene in Darwin. We value our volunteers and staff as without your help, it doesn't happen!

Selection criteria

• Excellent communication skills
• A smiling and happy nature
• Passionate about live music and it's development in Darwin
• Flexibility
• Ability to work as part of the NOOK Team
• Reliable
• 18+ years of age

Insurance

NOOK Event Management has Public Liability insurance cover which covers you as a volunteer during the event.

Roles currently available

Door People

All of our events are ticketed and we always need happy, smiling people to meet and greet our punters at the door.

Artist Minder & drivers

Feel like hanging with the artists? This job requires you to have a current drivers license, be 18 years or older and be prepared to be on call whilst our artists are in Darwin.

Tasks include (but not limited to):

• Transfers to and from airport, venue, accommodation and other locations
• Attending to artist requests on approval from the Event Managers

Runners

This role includes running for anything that crops up during the event duration.
